I am a Toronto based actor, writer and producer, and the co-founder of Sigh No More Productions. I'm a graduate of the University of Windsor's BFA in Acting program, and since then I've been telling stories in film, television and theatre. I greatly value creating my own work and opportunities. As a black woman, I understand the importance of having an active role in telling stories that reflect the experiences of voices like own. My goal is to create stories and opportunities for other black and marginalized artists.
I am fresh off of my run at the 2023 Toronto Fringe Festival where I debuted my one-woman show, Jessie and Me, which was said to feature "a solid performance and satisfying story."
My recent film & tv credits include Murdoch Mysteries (CBC), Accused (FOX), and a reoccurring role on Shelved (CTV).
Doomsday Daughters (Doomsday Productions), a film I recently co-produced is currently on its festival circuit, and just picked up an award for Best Film at the AltFF Film Festival (2023).
In November 2023, I had the pleasure of participating in the Monologue Slam Scene Challenge with my good friend and fellow collaborator Madelaine Rose. Our scene, which was from a play Madelaine co-wrote, won us the challenge and allowed us to advance to Monologue Slam Championship.
My new production company, Sigh No More Productions, is on the go and currently working on a few projects. We just produced a short film called My Best Friend's Date for the 48Hr Film Project. We're currently working on our next short film that we're hoping to film in 2024.
Keep an eye out for a new work place comedy set in space that I co-wrote and produced with The Boys Club Productions, set to come out in the new year.
